Initially, the Trust was limited to conduct small activities related to distribution of some food grains, cloths, blankets to the needy people, conducting health camps, distributing prizes to few schools students etc.
Since the founder of this trust is a doctor, he thought of expanding the activities of the trust in this field. He started doing some programs through the trust to promote health awareness and information in the society. For this, he constituted the “Lucknow Heart and Health Care Foundation” under the aegis of Maa Charitable Trust. The purpose of this foundation was mainly to conduct the educational activities of the Trust.
Later on, the trust started conducting Educational Seminars,Symposiums, Conferences, Doctors meet with a special focus on health education, disease prevention, and wellness on regular basis. Many more social service avenues are in pipeline and will take a shape in due course of time.
“Lucknow Heart and Health Care Foundation” under the aegis of Maa Charitable Trust conducts a “Clinical Cardiology & Echocardiography Update” every year since 2019. Initially it was started independently by Dr Sajidin the year 2014 and after formation of Maa Charitable Trust, the trust itself is conducting this conference under the banner of Lucknow Heart & Helth Care Foundation, The educational Wing of the trust. This conference is based on the latest important researchs & updates related to heart and associated diseases in which doctors from different parts of the country participates.
This conference bring together experts from various fields to discuss the latest developments in healthcare and education. These events foster knowledge-sharing and collaboration among medical professionals, primary healthcare clinicians and students.
Recently the trust has conducted a CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) training session taken by Dr Khan, MBBS, MD, a CPR expert from Mumbai, in a school of Lucknow. Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn of the participating school children was excellent during the session.
